Introducing TestExpress Drug Testkits - the one step on site drug cup! Unlike other tests that come with a separate test strip that must be inserted prior to the test being conducted, TestExpress Drug Testkits does not require any handling or manipulation to activate the test because the test strip is built in. You just dispense the urine into the cup - and then read the results. The cup does all the work ... and in only 5 minutes!
Since they don't require a separate test card that you must insert into the cup - that could easily drop or get lost - they are all inclusive ... which makes them a much easier and more accurate test to perform!

Specimen Collection and Preparation: Fresh urine specimens should be collected directly into the cup. Because the TestExpress 5 device employs a thermal strip it should be checked immediately after collection to validate urine specimen. SAMHSA regulations specify that any temperature below 90.5 degrees Farenheit must be considered adulterated. No additives or preservatives are required.
NOTE: Urine specimens can be transferred from a urine collection container into the TestExpress test cup, if necessary.
Drugs tested for in the new TestExpress test include the five most commonly abused drugs: methamphetamines, amphetines, opiates, cocaine and THC.
As you can see in the chart below, the TestExpress Test clearly presents results - with ONE line indicating a Positive Result, that drugs were found in the specimen - and TWO lines indicating a Negative Result, that NO drugs were found in the specimen.
An added benefit is that you can also order the TestExpress test with a built in Adulteration Strip. This is very helpful in testing situations where it is uncomfortable or impossible to watch the specimen being placed in the test cup. Adulterants are substances that are used by drug users to try to mask the presence of drugs in their system during a test. They can be anything from bleach, cleansers and other easily obtainable household products that are added directly to the sample during the test to diuretics to eating or drinking a substance that is reputed to chemically alter the test results. For complete information on adulterants, please see our General FAQ.
So if you are in a situation where you cannot have knowledge of what was consumed by the donor prior to testing - such as when drug tests are scheduled and announced ahead of time, or cannot physically watch the specimen being donated, such as when there is no same sex management available to observe the sample being placed in the test cup - this is a very beneficial addition to your testing procedure.
On the right is a sample of the chart that is included with each TestExpress test with Adulteration Strip.
Using this chart you can easily determine if there is adulteration present - and quickly compare the color of the adulteration strip with the chart to see exactly what the donor used in an attempt to adulterate the test and render it invalid.
*Please note the chart shown here may not represent actual colors due to variances in monitor settings - always use the chart included with your test to compare your results* The TestExpress Drug Testkit is an easy, fast, qualitative, visually read competitive binding immunoassay method for screening without the need of instrumentation.
